Q: What size singing bowl is best for a beginner?
A: Our 8cm (3.1") diameter bowls are perfect for beginners! They are small, lightweight, easy to hold, and produce a clear tone without requiring much force. They are an ideal introduction to sound healing.

Q: How do I play my Tibetan singing bowl?
A: There are two main methods:

  1. Striking: Gently tap the side of the bowl with the included mallet to produce a clear bell-like tone.

  2. Rimming: Hold the bowl in your palm, press the mallet firmly against the outside rim, and move it in a continuous circular motion. This creates the classic, sustained "singing" sound. It may take a little practice!

Q: What is your incense made from?
A: Our Tibetan incense is made from a blend of all-natural ingredients like sandalwood, saffron, juniper, and other precious botanicals, based on traditional recipes. They contain no synthetic fragrances or chemical binders.

Q: Which meditation cushion size should I choose?
A:

  • 60x200cm (24"x79"): Standard size, great for most people for seated meditation.

  • 75x230cm (30"x91"): Our most spacious option, ideal if you prefer extra room for movement or are taller.

A: Keep your bowl dry. To clean it, simply use a soft, dry cloth. Avoid using water or chemicals, as this can damage the unique patina and sound.

Q: What if my product arrives damaged?
A: We're so sorry if this happens! Please contact us within 7 days of delivery at care@himalayazen.com with photos of the damage and your order number. We will resolve the issue promptly by sending a replacement or issuing a refund.
